Day 61; 304 remaining. February 25th, 2010

January 01.2011: continuation of a thread beyond the first year...knitting, biscotti, muse, and transition. New and hibernating knitting projects travel through the journey to completion. Inspiring new colours after a year of changes. Setting a foundation for daily joys adventures and colourful string. December 26th, 2009: Daily knitting and fibre art journal for 365 days. To knit and complete old projects and new ideas. Spinning and weaving sweeten the mix as luscious silky downy and woolly fibres with odd names are altered into functional pieces. The journey to transform my ideas and many knit items begun up to 6 years ago into successful completions. Making life changes and wrapping up loose ends enroute to my next half century.

More blue waves today. Knit and frogged (again, same error as two days ago whilst knitting on and on) and reknit. Knitting a four row pattern should be simple. Lessons in keeping track of simplicity not so simple to learn it appears.

Much to do today thus I missed the northern gathering of guild members. Potluck lunch, spinners and knitters busy with their fleece and yarn, communing. Such a restorative setting. I look forward to next month's meeting while I have a quieter day dealing with other tasks.

Robyn this reminds me of a newsletter that just came across my email about knitting with intention. This group knits with intention at equinox (saturday night) and other nights of course. I like how life imitates knitting. or is it the other way around?

Day 60; 305 remaining. February 24th, 2010 Yes it does pay to keep track of which row was the last knit. Yesterday's knitting produced several inches which all had to be 'frogged' ie. ripped out as the first row picked up created a straight rather than wavy line of wavy stitch. Good indicator unfortunately found. Otherwise a productive knitting session yesterday. Today's too though stitch count was in reverse with a lesser number forward. Funny. something I dealt with today was old business to be cleaned up. Ball now rolling forward on this one too. So lets just say a day of one step backwards two steps...

Day 62; 303 remaining. February 26, 2010 Things moved about today towards my fresh start. Exciting, new beginning. More details of old business tended too and now the flow is going very well forward on this fresh start. Refreshing to say the least. Exhilarating really. Some details are harder to complete than others, with transition at least this big transition there are more details needing attention than at first glance. But I guess if one knew what was ahead one may divert from the path chosen. Rolling with the ball, knitting is like this too. Never know what tricks come up in a new pattern created or...
