Day 57; 308 remaining. February 21st, 2010

January 01.2011: continuation of a thread beyond the first year...knitting, biscotti, muse, and transition. New and hibernating knitting projects travel through the journey to completion. Inspiring new colours after a year of changes. Setting a foundation for daily joys adventures and colourful string. December 26th, 2009: Daily knitting and fibre art journal for 365 days. To knit and complete old projects and new ideas. Spinning and weaving sweeten the mix as luscious silky downy and woolly fibres with odd names are altered into functional pieces. The journey to transform my ideas and many knit items begun up to 6 years ago into successful completions. Making life changes and wrapping up loose ends enroute to my next half century.

Sunday, a day of rest. Regathering. Met friends in the morning for a Sunday ritual. Fun. New routines. Settling into a new route with comfort.

There will be knitting tonight, lace shawl here I come. Mr Kitty best stay at a distance, far enough for paws Not to reach the thread of mohair weaving into loops of lace. Just time now for a short drive home, a walk on the beach, cup of tea before supper.

With much to do in the coming days it all feels more and more relaxed and manageable. A sense of ease to what ever needs to be done in a day.

Now my knitting should flow along too. shawls needing to be made. scarves and spinning and completions to be done. but all with more joy now. Mr Kitty is waiting for his supper..............he deserves a treat too. I have been out for a while tending to wireless duties...good to be caught up again inspite of techno glitches.

Fresh beach air awaiting...stones pebbles sand shells...ocean air.

Day 56; 309 remainiing. February 20, 2010 A knitty day. Cleaning and phone calls and knitting and later walking on the beach. A long walk on the beach of about four kilometres. Tide was out, very far. Made it out just before the sun set on a calm sunny yet cool day. Feels more like winter again after a couple weeks of warm nights until earlier this week. An old project begun in earnest earlier this week made some great headway with this new track I found. Took care of two important things and with great success. All going well. Accomplishments and completion all in one. ...Plus...

Day 58; 307 remaining. February 22, 2010 More activity with knitting in lace. Uh oh an extra loop spied in the early rows of Luna shawl lacy loops. Further investigation looks like I may be able to correct it without unraveling !This project. Until tomorrow in the better light of day and rested eyes to be sure of what I see. Another golden rule... lace and complex counting projects to be done in the daytime rather than dark hours of the day, to avoid such alarming surprises... So more waves of blue, just a few knit and earlier to bed for a restful night...Olympics really can be...
